2025 Wrapped

2025 was a year of high activity, new investments, and continued focus on quality and sustainability. Here, we summarize some of the year’s most important events and lessons learned.

2025 was an eventful year for Falks Metall.

The year began with the inauguration of our newly renovated kitchen, naturally celebrated with a regional specialty; princess cake.

On January 28, our fourth Fanuc Robodrill was delivered, followed by two additional milling machines that were commissioned at the beginning of June.

In June, we also secured a new order worth SEK 80 million per year from a leading industrial customer.

In parallel, we worked on reporting data to EcoVadis, which assesses companies’ sustainability performance in global supply chains. Falks Metall was awarded a bronze medal, placing us among the top 35% of companies in the machining industry. We see this as a strong starting point for our continued sustainability efforts.

During the third quarter, we were nominated for the Climate Award 2025. Sandahls Logistik was a well-deserved winner at the award ceremony held at the County Governor’s Residence in October. For us, it was inspiring to see so many strong examples of ambitious climate initiatives.

As in previous years, we continued to engage in initiatives that are important to our local community, including Industrinatten for grade 8 students, study visits linked to NTA educational kits, and participation in several job fairs.

Competence development has been a key focus throughout the year. We have completed training in areas such as ADR dangerous goods, climate calculations, Teknikcollege instructor training, machine programming, the new ISO 9001 standard, CBAM, accounting updates, measurement software programming, family business management, SPS, and more.

During the year, an external audit was conducted together with Bureau Veritas, with all of our management systems approved. Customer audits were also carried out with very positive results. Our work with OEE, CPK, and MSA is an important part of our quality assurance process and contributes to increased value for our customers.

We have also used AI and developed proprietary software to analyze our scrap costs. This work has led to dialogue and actions with very positive outcomes. We are following with great interest how AI can transform the industry, reduce costs, and strengthen our value proposition to customers.

Over the course of the year, we hired ten new employees. This feels both exciting and important, and we continue to focus on knowledge transfer so that everyone understands our routines and meets our customer requirements.

Our machines have run for tens of thousands of hours, and we have welcomed many visitors. There is still available machine capacity (in case anyone is wondering). One illustrative example of utilization is that one of our milling machines ran for 6 720 hours during the year. That is impressive.

From all of us to all of you:

Happy New Year 2026.
